What I do is not for everyone. That’s not a marketing angle. It is just the truth.
Why?
Because I invite people to engage with me so they can learn to regulate and control their emotions, I teach how to train your brain to manage your emotions and, on the spiritual or mystical side, pursue a path of radical Inner transformation. And emotional regulation is the door you have to walk through first.
The trick is to get your emotions in check first. As many of my community knows, cannabis can be a potent ally in doing this. See my little joke (not joke) at the end of my piece here.
Anyway, on one level, I teach people how to train their brain to manage emotional patterns. On a deeper level, this is about inner transformation… uncomfortable, honest transformation.
And that kind of work asks something of you.
It asks you to look at yourself honestly. Not the curated version you show in public – but the one underneath the coping strategies, distractions, and patterns you have learned to rely on.
It’s efficient and effective work. But it’s not easy. And not everyone is ready for it.
Three Types of People I See on the Path to Emotional Regulation
In my world there are generally 3 categories of people:
IDLERS
These are people who have little or no interest in self-exploration (yet). They’re often bored or lonely, usually entangled in messy relationships. Yet the pain of being stuck is still preferable to what it takes to change.
Emotional regulation is honestly the last thing on their radar. They are too busy managing the surface of their lives to even consider going deeper.
They’re not ready to do the deep inner exploration so my work is pretty meaningless to them. Often these folks will be either enmeshed in their career (as in workaholism) or have other addictions to distract them from their stuck lives. However, often a life-changing event will throw them into the next category.
SEEKERS
These are people who are called to take their next meaningful step into deeper Self-exploration, even if it’s scary. These folks are explorers and adventurers. They might have been searching and trying all kinds of things with limited success for years, even decades.
Many stumble across me. And when they do, there is usually a sense of recognition. What they have been looking for, even if they could not name it, is real emotional transformation. They just did not know that is what it was called.
POLISHERS
These are people who have been doing serious work on themselves for years. This includes active meditators, yogis, and psychedelic explorers, who’ve had a measure of success but feel there’s something missing.
As one of my students recently put it: “I’ve met a lot of meditators that have been meditating a long time, but they still have problems with their emotions.”
And that is exactly it. That something missing is almost always emotional regulation. They have pursued inner transformation. They have sat with themselves in ways most people never will. But the emotions are still running the show underneath it all. And that is what we work on together.
Where Change Actually Happens
I invite people into spaces where they bring their full emotional selves. Not the polished version. The real one. There is laughter. There is discomfort. There is honesty. And yes, there are moments where people get triggered.
I often tell groups I work with that I will probably trigger them. Not because I am trying to, but because when you stop avoiding your patterns, they surface. And when they do, you have a choice. Repeat the pattern, or work with it.
Most people repeat it. They shut down, lash out, withdraw, or carry it into their relationships and wonder why the same dynamics keep showing up.
In this work, we do something different.
We stay. We communicate. We use the moment. That is where change happens.
An Invitation to Step In
This is the kind of space I am offering this Sunday in my Elevation Ceremony.
It’s a guided experience where you will work directly with your emotions, your patterns, and your awareness in real time.
It is not passive. You will not be sitting back consuming information. This is not a spectator sport. It’s hands-on! You will be engaged with what is actually there, learning to work with it instead of avoiding it.
What This Work Actually Feels Like
Ingrid, one of my students, talked recently about the experience of releasing emotions:
“The work has been powerful for me because it allows me to settle my heart and the pain I’ve carried. I was able to get in touch with emotions that are buried under layers of programming, behavior and protective responses to recognize that my core wound is what’s causing all this pain and then addressing it.”
This is what becomes possible when you stop skimming the surface. Real contact with yourself. That is where real emotional regulation begins. And from there, real inner transformation follows. Not the kind you read about. The kind you actually feel.
If something in you is stirring as you read this, pay attention to that. If you recognize the patterns or feel the pull, this is your invitation.
Join me this Sunday for one of my signature events, my online complimentary Elevation Ceremony.
Come as you are. Curious, guarded, skeptical, open. You’re welcome to amplify with cannabis but it’s always optional. You can register and our ceremony is recorded for later experiencing as well.
The real question is not whether this work works. It is whether you are ready to meet yourself inside it.
With Love,

P.S. The Jamaicans knew about the mystical aspects of cannabis early-on;)
P.S.S. If you felt even a slight pull reading this, that’s usually the part people learn to ignore. You can keep doing that… or you can come see what’s actually there.
